Daisy Flower



It is thought that the name “Daisy” is a corruption of “day’s eye”, because the whole head closes at night and open in the morning.

The Daisy or “Bellis Perennis” is native to western, central and northern Europe. It is a herbaceous (herbal) plant with short creeping rhizomes (underground, horizontal stem of a plant that often sends out roots and shoots from its nodes)
